“We had Alberto as our tour guide and Philip as our driver. Our party of 8 had an excellent time! The bus was very comfortable and we had a smooth ride. Alberto was great at giving us the history of Ludwig and fun facts along the route during the bus ride to the castles. It’s a busy day with a lot going on, but I appreciated the quick and efficient itinerary in order to see everything with some down time to freely explore the village and eat some lunch. Would highly recommend this day trip!”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our day. The guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. The only downside was we felt rushed through both castles. The bus we travelled on was quite new and well equipped. “Would highly recommend this tour! You get to see so much of the beautiful countryside outside Munich. Ursula our tour guide was fantastic! The way she presented the information about King Ludwig and the castles was so fun. It’s amazing her knowledge on this topic. If you can ask to be on Ursula’s tour. “Visited Germany over the Christmas hols and was glad to find a tour to the castles on Boxing Day. Personally preferred Linderhof because of the intricate details and we could visit entire palace. Neuschwanstein was only abt 35 mins seeing part of the castle. The interiors are reminiscent of Residenz Munchen. Neuschwanstein inspired Disney if I am not wrong but cannot see his beauty from ground up. Aerial view would be better. Shuttle buses were not running thus upslope to Neuschwanstein can be a challenge. Being an animal lover I will not support horse carriages also. “This experience was a relaxing way to see the castle with a variety of options. The bike ride was the most enjoyable part for me. (I probably would have even liked a longer ride). The efficiency re: ordering lunch was well done along with the castle tickets. The hike to the castle was strenuous but that was conveyed prior. Tyler did a great job with the commentary (not too much but just enough). The group was not too big although the coach could take more but that might be too many. I did not go inside the castle as our main view was to be in the countryside outside Munich.…”

“Because there were a lot of people on our group, we couldn’t always see what was being spoken about without having to wait a little after people starting moving on. The courtyard area where we waited was a little dull. Everything else was very good. We loved the views and we shared apple pie in the cafe. 🌷”

“The area is beautiful surrounding the castle. Views are incredible. There are no elevators so make sure you are in some kind of shape or just take your time. You will be assigned a time make sure you are in the courtyard at least 5 minutes prior. They are very efficient!! The audio works like a cell phone just hold it up to your ear. Very informative but you really don’t have any opportunity to ask questions. So do your home work before you go. It truly is a fairy tale castle.”
