“Harburg Castle was just ok. I would have much preferred to skip it and spend more time in Rothenburg. This town was absolutely beautiful, but because it is Christmas market season, it was extremely crowded. This is why I wish we had been given more time there instead of Harburg. I didn’t get to see nearly as much of the town as I liked. Our tour operator was sweet, but kudos goes to our bus driver. The gig was super thick and he got us there and back to Munich safely.”

“I enjoyed our day trip to Rothenburg, but I would not do it again. It was too far to travel for a day trip. The driver George gave us the option of traveling via the autobahn or taking a more scenic route with some stops. We and the other couple did decide to do the scenic route, but that took much longer than I expected. That left us with too little time in Rothenburg. On the way back I felt totally unsafe in the van traveling at the speed that is driven on the autobahn. But that was just me.”

He also made the drives enjoyable by letting us know whenever we were passing important or interesting landmarks and giving us the history. Both towns are beautiful.”
