Bavaria: Action Whitewater Rafting Adventure

Bavaria: Action Whitewater Rafting Adventure - Transfers by Bus: Less Waiting, More Time on Water

2.Bavaria: Action Whitewater Rafting Adventure

★★★★★★★★★★4.7 · 56 reviews · 4 hours · from $87

Action whitewater rafting near Salzburg in Bavaria, Germany. Includes gear, coaching, transfers, and a 4-meter jump stop.

“It was a really enjoyable experience. The team kept participants engaged from start to finish, which I found very fair and well done. The rafting itself naturally depends on the river conditions, but even on a relatively calm day like ours, the guide managed to create fun and exciting moments, which we greatly appreciated. The only aspect that I think could be improved is the cleaning of the neoprene suits. From what I observed, dipping 30–40 suits briefly into two buckets of water didn’t seem very hygienic. I hope this part of the process will be enhanced in the future.”

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 51 reviews · 4 hours (approx.) · from $155

Canyoning Starzlachklamm, Bavaria: 4 hours of jumps, slides, rappels with gear and guide included, plus photos download in English.

“This was one of the most memorable experiences I’ve ever had. I went with my 18yo daughter but their were 15 of us in the group. The instructors spoke brilliant English and explained everything in both English and German. Everyone was so friendly. The hardest part was walking up the path to the start of the canyoning in a wetsuit. It’s about a 20min walk and I’m not the fittest. Some of the jumps/drops in to rock pools required some internal Pep talks but that was also part of the fun challenge. Will definitely do it again.”

“This was an amazing tour. The guides were professional and awesome. We ended up doing a canyon near Hirschegg, Austria with colder water and higher jumps and it was pretty exhilarating. Each drop was scalable for those who didn’t want to jump and there was a little walk in the middle to warm up. The guides took photos along the way. 10/10 would recommend.”
