“Fantastic experience. Castle is amazing inside. Just know you cannot enter the castle until your scheduled time on ticket. You can enter the courtyard 45 min prior but there is nothing to keep you occupied. Best to take advantage of time by visiting other sites, the town or restaurants so you’re not waiting around unnecessarily. Bus trip very comfortable. Guides provided great historical information. Check if bridge open in winter because it closes randomly when deemed unsafe for access. Recommend walking up if you are capable.”

“Me&My husband had a great day!! We where picked up at our hotel by our guide (who’s name I didn’t catch, we went on the 23rd Dec in the AM) but he was fantastic!! They let us go at our own pace, and gave us teas/coffees/snacks in the way!! I hurt my ankle on the way down from the hike from gate and the guide was FAB in helping get down safely and helped all the way with the thick snow!! The lunch after was great and we met and made some amazing new friends!! Very much recommended! It was something we’ve never done before and we LOVED it!! Thankyou!!”

“We had a wonderful day with our guide Christian! We learned alot about the sights we were seeing. Christian was flexible to make sure we spent time on the things we wanted to see. He directed us on the best way to experience Zugspitze. Garmisch & Partenkirchen are lovely towns that we got to walk through. We learned the story of Oberammergau and had lunch and some shopping time there. Christian was very efficient and made the most of our time. He also had good recommendations for dinner and sights in Munich. A beautiful day!”

“I suppose that the success of this tour depends very much on the weather. We were extremely lucky as, although mid-December, the weather was extremely kind. Walking over the Bastei Bridge and later in Czech Bohemia would have been difficult in heavy rain and dangerous in heavy snow. The tour itself went exactly as advertised we were picked up at our hotel in Dresden and driven to the Bastei bridge. There, our small party of three was amalgamated with a larger group of eight from Prague. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and he and our driver from Dresden professional and solicitous.
